It’s no surprise that so many couples choose to get married in this lovely pocket of the UK. With venues in abundance, it’s a great place to pop down to for a weekend and get a host of different venue options on your itinerary. An award-winning barn located in the heart of it’s own secret valley and surrounded by 400 acres of Cotswold Hills, Kingscote Barn is a beautifully private wedding location. On arrival you’ll sweep down the venues private driveway and arrive at the 17th century Cotswold stone barn. It is an exclusive hire venue that can host up to 150 guests for the ceremony and reception, and up to 200 guests in the evening. It’s South facing terrace has breathtaking views across the valley and once everyone has danced the night away, they can retire to the on-site accommodation that hosts up to 50 guests.
A breathtaking country house that was once the home of Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace is beautifully maintained and is steeped in history. Featuring 18th century baroque architecture, along with 200 acres of landscaped and award-winning formal gardens, there are unlimited opportunities for lovely locations in which to host your day. With the ability to cater for both large extravagant weddings or smaller more intimate ones, the palace has six different venue spaces in which to host the various elements of your day. Alternatively you can also place a marquee within the grounds too, which is typically done for very large weddings there. This lovely venue dates back to 1446 and is the oldest licensed wedding barn in Gloucestershire. They offer a fully personalised wedding experience within their exclusive use venue, that can host ceremonies for up to 100 and receptions for between 20 to 200 guests.
