Wedding Jewellery for Every Season

I honestly believe there’s beauty in every season; I adore the freshness of spring, hazy summer days, crisp autumn mornings and cosy winter nights. Whether or not you’re opting for a wedding theme on your special day, choosing your bridal jewellery to reflect and emphasise the season you’re marrying in is sure to create a subtle and beautiful style.

The Spring Bride

The season that evokes thoughts of new life, we can’t help symbolise spring with the birth of lambs, hatching chicks and flowers blooming. For brides tying the knot from March to May, I adore a delicate, fresh style with a colour palette of subtle and sweet pastel hues. Dainty jewellery with feminine floral detail looks divine on a spring bride; a pretty flower pendant and earrings, a corsage bracelet and hair flower to emphasise the beauty of nature. Mix flowers with beautiful butterfly motifs, petite leaves and buds for divine whimsical charm.

Wedding Jewellery for the summer bride

The Summer Bride

Whether you’re a beach bride or marrying in the warm months of summer, I love the choice this season offers. From beautiful boho style with oversized floral detailing, a vivid colour scheme of hot pinks and bright oranges to a romantic laid-back beach bridal look, summer is all about having fun. Embrace bohemian charm with bridal jewellery featuring a variety of natural fabrics. Opt for a statement wrist corsage or statement forehead piece, or layer long pendants and stack cuffs for a gypsy bride twist. If you’re incorporating bright summery hues, don’t be afraid to go for a splash of colour with tonal jewels for a fun wedding day look and, if you’re a beach bride, look for romantic flower chains, ankle bracelets and natural materials such as shells and beads.

Wedding Jewellery for the Autumn bride

The Autumn Bride

I love nature’s autumnal colour palette of rust, burnt orange, yolk yellow and olive green. Luxurious and inviting, these warm hues are beautifully complemented by decadent gold wedding jewellery. Whether you prefer a gold tone base or gems bejewelled with rich gold and bronze crystals, gilt jewellery will cast autumn brides a radiant and flattering glow. Why not take your seasonal theme a step further with leaf motifs to accentuate fall and coordinate with your gorgeous bouquet?

The Winter Bride

A magical winter wedding with its frosty silver and white colour theme is one of my personal favourites. Sparkling crystal jewellery for icy allure and faux fur capes set the romantic wonderland ambiance. For added emphasis, opt for jewels and hair accessories with pretty snowflake detail or simply embrace Ice Queen Elegance with statement glittering gems. In contrast, the traditional Christmas bride with a luxurious colour scheme of red, green and gold, demands opulent gold wedding jewellery for a warm, inviting luminosity. Brides who favour rich hues have the perfect opportunity to embrace striking jewel tones with striking ruby and emerald gems – perfect to complement a holly berry bouquet.
