First Dance Songs of 2015 - 50 Shades of Grey leads the way!
Ah, first dances, the much anticipated, potentially nerve racking moment you and your new spouse shuffle awkwardly around the dacefloor for the benefit of perhaps slightly more awkward feeling friends and family. Wary of the awkward shuffle you may have rehearsed some steps or taken a lesson or two, you may have even, dare I say it, choreographed a routine of sorts, inspired by the delights of Strictly Come Dancing. Or maybe I've got it wrong.. maybe you're really looking forward to this magical and intimate (despite the 100 pairs of eyes on you) moment. Personally I relish the spotlight and am always more than happy to prance around for the amusement of others, but I'm well aware not everyone shares my feelings! Whatever kind of 'first dancer' you are, the thing to nail is the music! Stepping into the clearing on the d-floor to the opening chimes of Aerosmiths 'Don't Wanna Miss A Thing' is a sure fire way to dampen the mood and lose your guests to a slow painful death by boredom. Perhaps you're the kind of couple who've always had 'your song', perhaps you've known since the early days that it would be this particular song you dance your first dance to at your wedding. For the rest of you, we thought we'd provide a little helping hand. We rounded up last years most popular tunes here (and will no doubt do another, updated 2015 list further into the year) but for now, here are our top tracks of the annum thus far...
