When the nights draw in darker and the Christmas lights sparkle many brides-to-be hang up their wedding planning hats in favour of their party ones. But we take this time of year as inspiration. Whilst you are being merry this party season, pay attention to your shoes and how they make you feel.

You can often judge the heel height and shape that would best suit you on your wedding day through the shoes that you wear over this party season. If, like us, you have your go to pair of shoes that are always comfortable and never make you feel like your feet are on fire you should think about why. Is it because they have a toe shape that fits your toes better than all your other shoes? Or do they have that small platform that makes you feel sturdier? This party season is a good time to test those questions, allowing you to create a better picture of what you are looking for within your wedding shoes.

The shimmer snow and twinkle lights this season is where we find our inspiration for winter themes. For brides that are getting married around this season footwear styles that are adorned with crystals are often an excellent for portraying this, as they will create a beautiful statement. Choosing a sparkling pair of shoes also means that you are able to wear your beautiful shoes, that are full of happy memories, again without having to go through the dying process or altering them from their exquisiteness.

Christmas is most defiantly a time to relax and be merry but our top advice for this season is to still keep your shoes on your mind. Whether it’s drawing inspiration from the sparkle of this time of year or getting ahead of the game by visiting your favourite stores or figuring out what you really want from a pair of wedding shoes; this is the time to do it.
