Wedding Music Ideas - Songs for Guests Arriving

 wedding ceremony

Your guests are arriving and excitement is filling the air. Everyone is waiting for the bride’s big arrival and admiring each others outfits. This is the perfect time to set the tone for the day ahead, and there's no better way to do so than with music.

If you're making a playlist you'll probably need about 30 minutes worth of music prepared to fill this time. If you're having live musicians they'll know how to fill the time, and will probably have a good idea of what will be appropriate.

Search for live musicians in your area here

Here's a list and a few videos of popular songs you might like to choose from. Remember, this is a great opportunity to set the tone for your day. For example, if it's a relaxed, modern wedding, choose easy going, modern tracks. The best part is that most of the songs below can be played by a variety of instrument types and groups from string quartet to solo harp to guitar & vocals. Even the organ can play some pretty funky tunes! If it you are looking for a few more classical ideas, we have added a few suggestions at the bottom.
