Have a backup plan

Whatever it is: a ceremony in nature, a photo session or an open-air event - be sure to think "what if ...?"Plan all outdoor activities next to the places where you can not only hide from the rain but also continue to your plan of the day. For example, if you decide to make a wedding photo shoot in a beautiful venue garden, make sure that in case of rainy weather, you are given the opportunity to move the photo session inside. If you do not have this opportunity, make sure to find out where you can move the ceremony or photo session quickly when it rains. Try not to make this alternative place too far from the planned and make your guests and service providers confused.

Take care of the merchandise

If you know that can be raining on your wedding day, make sure you have as many umbrellas nearby as possible! Your celebration will look even more thoughtful and guests will be delighted if all the umbrellas are the same and the participants of the wedding will be able to keep them as a wedding gift. In addition, it will look great in your wedding photos! Also, on that day, you might find it helpful to have some one-time raincoats - especially for a photographers and other service providers who might be uncomfortable with wearing an umbrella.

Prepare your makeup and hairstyle

In fact, the bride's makeup should be protected for any weather condition, but if you know the rain can be expected on your wedding day, make-up needs special attention. Here you can be saved with water-resistant make-up and lots of fixers! Of course, be sure to talk to your makeup artist about it - she will definitely advise you how to handle the rain. One of these tips will probably be - NOT touching your face until it is completely dry. Otherwise, you can add even more damage - lacquered mascara or make-up foundation. Also, in the case of a rainy day, it would be best not to choose a loose hair hairstyle. Such hairstyles are very fragile and resistant to weather conditions - so rain can completely ruin them. Of course, be sure to take care of the bride's first aid kit: which will have the most important tools to help you repair your make-up and hairdo.

And finally, the most important advice would be - do not let the rain ruin your mood and enjoy the celebration.  Wedding day is as real life - you cannot plan everything. There will be beautiful moments and not exactly what you expected - but it cannot destroy your happiness. Instead of complaining, turn the rain into an exceptional feature that everyone will remember for a long time!
