Amanda Wakeley Bridal 17: A Sneak Preview With Les Trois Soeurs
Last week we had the absolute pleasure of attending a sneak preview of Amanda Wakeley's latest collection, in collaboration with Les Trois Souers Bridal. The launch was held at Plateau, a luxurious modern restaurant perched on the fourth floor of Canada Place with spectacular views across Canary Wharf and London.

Renowned for her "understated yet glamourous" style, celebrity favourite Amanda Wakeley wowed us with her impeccable bias-cut satin and goddess-like tulle gowns. Made using a range of silk mikado, raw cut chiffon and graphic lace panels, this collection is all about texture; layering luxurious fabrics with sections of intricate pearl and beaded artwork.
This season also introduces some spectacular separates for a versatile bridal look. We particularly love the dramatic silk mikado skirt teamed with a modern embroidered top. Major style points!
Describing the ultimate 'Wakeley Woman' as multitalented and multitasking, Amanda explained the essence of her designs as effortlessly sexy and romantic. "It's all about the movement of the dress, and for the bride to feel like a goddess. I want her to visualise walking down the aisle and having the best day of her life in that dress; to relax and enjoy the day, feeling the best version of herself."
Often worn by brides who get married in exotic locations all over the world, Amanda's gowns are as versatile as they are luxe. This exclusive preview of the full collection below, shot in the subtropical Mexican rainforest, shows just how breathtaking these deco-inspired beauties are in any setting.
Our wonderful hosts, Les Trois Souers, are stockists of Amanda Wakeley alongside a whole range of magnificent designers including Temperley of London, David Fielden, Caroline Castigliano and many more.
You can find them at their store in Canary Wharf, and contact them here.
