Emily & Jonathan | Newton Hall Wedding
Emily and Jonathan had a quintiessentially english wedding at the very beautiful Newton Hall in Northumberland. The award winning Newton Hall prides itself on it's quirky and fantastical interior design, and wealth of interesting outdoor spaces to host a wedding. After the ceremony in a nearby church, Emily and Jonathan hosted their reception in a traditional pole marquee in the grounds of Newton Hall, which was decorated with crisp white and green arrangements adding to the country garden vibe.
We particularly love Emily's dress by renowned british bridalwear designer, Temperley. The intricate lace and sparkling beaded details are serioulsy magical, and all topped off by a pair of silver Jimmy Choos!

How did you and your partner meet?
Hilariously through my mother! She was a client of Jonathan’s business.
How did he propose?
It was incredibly low key - in the garden of the Goring Hotel, London.
What’s your most important piece of advice for creating and maintaining a strong relationship?
Building trust through being honest, and not being afraid to speak your mind - you have to be comfortable being yourself as you’re going to be spending a lot of time together!
Tell us about your wedding gown and how you chose it:
I knew I wanted a Temperley dress as I love her quintessentially British aesthetic. I only actually tried on around 5 dresses and I knew I’d found the perfect one when my grandmother got so emotional!
What sort of style did you envision for your wedding day?
Traditional and ethereal.
What was your favorite moment from the day?
Gosh I honestly couldn’t tell you! Was all so magical.
Any DIY décor elements?
I wish I could take credit for all of it, but in the professionals, I trust! So, no, they expertly made my vision a beautiful reality.
If you could do it all over again, what would you change?
Nothing! The day was just perfect, all I wish for is to have been able to enjoy it for longer. The day just went by sooo quick!
Any tips that you can give to future brides?
Ensure you’re working with a fantastic caterer, and enjoy each moment!
Anything else you’d like to add?
A wedding is one day, marriage is eternal! You can always wear the dress to hoover the house...
