Elisha & Jonny's Intimate DIY Wedding
Elisha met Jonny at a mutual friend’s band performance when they were just 16 and 15, and the rest is history! The beautiful couple got engaged in Paris, with a beautiful proposal by the river, and of course, a view of the Eiffel Tower.

For their white and rustic wedding, Elisha chose a princess-like dress that was big and fluffy. They found the perfect venue for their theme and secured a date within less than 2 weeks of their engagement! The couple chose the shortest civil ceremony possible so they could get through it without crying, although they still failed!
A lot of love was put into the reception with incredible DIY elements including hand cross-stitched name place cards, hand-stamped menus, table plan, centerpieces and putting together the favours themselves. They also had a spectacular 4-tier cake, alternating in vanilla and chocolate sponge with white chocolate ganache, and our favourite details are the cake decorations and toppers, which featured a Lego bride and groom holding rings, a rustic sackcloth rose and bunting!
The 4 tier cake alternated between vanilla and cholocate spone with 2 layers covered in icing ann 2 layers roughly iced in white chocolate ganache. The cute cake topper was a lego bride and groom with bunting.
DIY had a huge part to play with Elisha making some shrewd savings by stitching all of the place names and stamping all of the menus and the table plan.
