My husband and I married at The Talbot on 1st July 2017. Our wedding was 2 years in the planning and worth every moment of it.

Kristina, Russell and the entire team were fantastic! Given we had so long to plan our wedding we knew exactly what we wanted - nothing was too much to ask of the team and they were so helpful in offering suggestions for the day and recommending suppliers as well as generally going above and beyond at any opportunity.

In the run up to the and on the day itself we knew we were always in safe hands with The Talbot team!

We had the most perfect day and our wedding was nothing short of amazing thanks to the team at the Talbot. Several guests commented it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding and commented how great the venue and staff were too. Huge thanks to all at The Talbot for making our dream wedding a reality!

We had a wonderful wedding at The Talbot Ripley in June 2017. The wedding planner Krystyna was very efficient and guided and helped us with our plans for the day. The Surrey Barn was decorated beautifully and was a very intimate venue - just what we wanted. The MC on the day was great and nothing was too much trouble. The food was good as were the staff. We had a perfect wedding day!

We had our wedding on 9th September 2017 and can't say how wonderful it was. We have had so many compliments about the food, venue and staff. The staff really couldn't have done anymore for us and made our day all the more special. Everything ran exactly how we wanted it to and both Krystyna and Russ were amazing. If we could do it all again we would go back to the Talbot without hesitation. A big thank you to Russ and Krystyna for making our day THE BEST ever.

We got married at the Talbot in September 2017 and we could not have had a better day. They made all the organising beforehand so easy and stress free and the day itself went so smoothly. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and perfect to create exactly the kind of setting we wanted. We had so many of the guests come up to us and tell us how much they enjoyed the food! And a special mention must go to Russel who was our host for the day. He made the day flow faultlessly and was so lovely and attentive to us and our guests. Would 100% recommend the Talbot to anyone thinking of getting married there!

Me and my wife selected The Talbot for our wedding and we were so happy to have done so. Despite being forced to organise things at such short notice due to circumstances beyond our control, Krystyna and her team were so very flexible at accommodating all of our wishes - keeping the whole process stress free for us. Then on the day, the service staff were great, and extremely friendly. Our MC, Russell, was perfect, helping everything run smoothly and being able to adapt to every problem that we seemed to encounter. Many thanks to everyone at The Talbot for such an amazing experience! :)

We had our wedding recently at the Talbot and we can honestly say they were fantastic. Right from the open day and meeting Krystyna, head of sales, we knew we had picked a winner! She was professional, friendly and seriously on it! We felt it great hands and we were right! Every detail had been thought of and nothing was not doable! She is a star! Then on the actual day Russel and his team made the day really special. He is definitely the best host I’ve ever seen with his enthusiasm and quick feet! The whole day ran smoothly and there was a lovely warmth from all the staff on the day! The food was very important to us and they delivered a wonderful meal with many guest coemting on a particularly fantastic main dish. The only slight change to garnish and what we had expected was the dessert but it still tasted great! The weddings guests were raving the next morning about their stay at the Talbot! We would highly recommend it!

When we met Krystyna last May 2017 we both knew we had found a gem of a location, that fitted exactly what we had in mind for our wedding. It is a beautiful and historic building full of character, intimacy and charm. A location that is quaint and rural yet easily accessible by road and rail for our planned guests, with ample parking and accommodation so that we and our party could seamlessly join our whole day together in one venue. And what a chameleon venue it is, intimate and precious in space, somehow so easily able to generously house our 60+ day guests and 40+ evening guests - plus our fantastic harpist for the ceremony.

We simply cannot praise you all enough. Especially praise goes to Krystyna for the understanding and sensitivity she showed when, only days after we had initially met her, we were hit by the sudden decline in health, and subsequent loss of Mark’s dear father. Krystyna did not hound us, or force us into uncompromising decisions at this emotional time - but instead, gave us the much needed time and space to come to her when we were finally ready. Something we much appreciated. And when we were ready, we aimed to turn that sadness into a way or celebrating Marks father and still having him involved in the day, by choosing his birthday as the date to celebrate our marriage, and Krystyna sprang into action. And I must add, it was (as we can only now appreciate), quite a tight deadline to fit all the usual wedding arrangements into the five remaining months we had in which to organise everything for our late November wedding.

But through it all, was the calm, gentle and assured guidance of Krystyna, helping to pull us through these times, and bring us to what can only be described as the most joyous, delicious and precious day we could ever have hoped for. I have never felt more beautiful, more loved, and more pampered. Everyone involved in our day added a special sparkle, but the gem in the crown was certainly the fabulous Krystyna, Russell and the team of the Talbot.

Russell was, it must be said, the most admirably competent and engaging master of ceremonies and daytime organising absolute whiz. Many of our guests commented on his good humour and ‘nothing-was-too-difficult’attitude; especially needed when he had so many guests to encourage gently - yet promptly - from one location to another, and make himself miraculously both heard and yet not seen. And to attend to the changeable culinary requirements of my early teen bridesmaids; one of which had literally just decided to become a vegetarian without appreciating what that entailed. The rest of the team were equally attentive, kind, willing to please and genuine people - every woman and man involved in our stay with the Talbot, from reception, bar staff, room service, the chef and kitchen team, waitering staff etc, all made the event very special indeed.

Embarking upon a journey at the Talbot for the most spectacular and memorable day of our lives, with staff who anticipated our every need, and that of our guests. It felt remarkable unique, for a venue which holds many weddings within its grounds. Amazingly special, intimate and highly spontaneous. We both felt carried along on a cloud of confidence and love. Your guidance and care to detail, meant that day will live in the memories of all our nearest and dearest for many years to come. You all began our married lives as Mr and Mrs Harrington, and we will never forget it. Thank you is simply not enough.

Absolutely amazing!! Krystyna and the team helped us over the course of a year to create the most magical day for our friends and family. They host numerous weddings every week yet they still made ours feel like the most important event they were organising, everything was very personal and no request was too much trouble. I would highly recommend the Talbot for your special day, it’s the most beautiful venue with amazing staff.

This is the best wedding venue ever! So romantic, and utterly beautiful. Krystyna and Russell you were amazing. We felt so special and cared for. We honestly couldn't have wished for a better day. We have just had the most amazing wedding at the Talbot Hotel in Ripley, all thanks to the amazing staff at The Talbot. Our wedding coordinator Krystyna is simply amazing, nothing was too much trouble, always at the end of the phone to answer any questions, gave us plenty of advice and tips and help with planning our special day. Russel our toast master and everything else as this man can seriously multi task!! Russel was just incredible on the day, our day flowed like clockwork because of him, I can’t thank you enough. He is so enthusiastic and so much fun. We had a wonderful meal all our guests commented on how good the food was, special thanks to the chef and his team as it can’t have been easy cooking for such a large event on an extremely hot day. Fabulous friendly team of waiters who worked so hard all day and into the evening, much appreciated. The Talbot sparkled especially into the evening, as the canopy of twinkling lights were switched on in the courtyard, just beautiful. I had the bridal suite very special indeed, very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommended The Talbot to anyone planning a wedding or any event. Thank you so much to you all at The Talbot

From start to finish the team at the Talbot were fantastic, Krystyna was supportive and informative and most of all patient when dealing with my queries. Russell was brilliant on the day as was the whole team. The venue is great and we loved every minute of our day that just went too fast in the end! Thanks to everyone.

We recently had our wedding at The Talbot Inn and cannot thank everyone enough. Nothing was too much effort for the staff. From start to finish, Krystyna was so helpful and listened to our requests with no problem. Russell, our toast master, put us at ease on the day and was very helpful. They both made the day run so smoothly and our relaxed party theme was just what we wanted. We did not have to lift a finger on the day. The venue is stunning and we got loads of great pictures. We highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a relaxed day.

We got married at The Talbot end of May 2018, and had amazing professional service from start to finish. We had a music festival theme and Krystyna and Russell were both excellent in assisting us with the planning all the way up to the day of. The staff made sure every little thing went off without a hitch and were so accommodating and approachable. We had our ceremony in the barns, which was such a beautiful room to get married in, and the reception in the Wisley. Very good value for money and the best wedding BBQ we have ever eaten! Would highly recommend this venue to anyone.

The team at The Talbot are absolutely amazing! From the very first visit until the big day, Krystyna and her team were always there to help and support us with planning our perfect wedding and happy to answer all my random questions! The day itself went so smoothly thanks to all of their planning and organising and the food was absolutely fabulous! The bridal suite was stunning and spacious for me and my four bridesmaids to get ready in and spent a very comfortable night in the beautiful four-poster bed. I also had friends and family staying in the hotel and it was a lovely experience to have another great meal in the morning with all of our closest friends and family. Both days they catered to all sorts of dietary requirements (Me and Mum are Ceoliac and about half our friends are Vegetarian or Vegan) and they were always checking that everyone was happy and had enough food and drinks. Overall, the best day of my life- no regrets and cannot wait to come back and spend our anniversary here next year!

We live in the U.S. and traveled to England to have our wedding with our family and we couldn’t have been more happy or amazed at how our whole experience turned out at the Talbot! From the very beginning, Krystyna was super helpful, very responsive and informative about everything we needed answered and done! I can’t believe how easy it was planning a wedding in a whole other country was because of Krystyna and her team. We stayed at the Talbot Inn the night before and night of the wedding and everyone was raving about how adorable the whole place was and how friendly the staff were, and they were so right! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Krystyna and our host Arvind, our experience was already better than we expected. Our rehearsal dinner that we thought would be more casual turned into a whole event thanks to Arvind and his amazing staff for their amazing planning! Our wedding was magical, and everything went perfectly to plan. The venue was gorgeous, the food was delicious, the dessert was even more delicious and our whole day was as perfect as could be. Even more so than we planned. We are pretty much saying thank you to Talbot Inn and their amazing people for making our wedding truly one of the most special days of our lives. We can’t wait to go back and visit!

I honestly can’t thank you and the team so much for all the effort and arrangements for our wedding day. It was truly to most perfect and magical day. We couldn’t of wished it asked for anything more. Arvind was fantastic, so helpful and efficient with any requests we had throughout the day. He was always there in the background so we never had to go looking for him. Also, a I have to make a special comment for Connor. He was also fantastic and definitely deserves recognition for his hard work along with Arvind - a big gold star ?? or what ever you may do to recognise it for them! All of our guest loved the Tablot and thought it was a beautiful venue. There is honestly not one thing I would of changed. Your team are amazing and it’s all thanks to you for organising it all so well with such attention to detail. Thank you sooo much! Dean was a massive hit with everyone! The decorations team were just fabulous - both rooms looked absolutely stunning. Jody our photographer was brilliant and we were so happy we chose her. Our DJ was spot on and we loved dancing the night away! It was a very hot hot day but we all sucked it up and sweated it out. God knows how I kept going from 4am Sunday morning until 1am Monday morning but I loved every single second and would do anything to re live it all. Louise has already said to us - “can we do it again one day .... maybe you can re-new your vows sometime”. Thank you from both of us for all your hard work!

Everything we wanted and then some Our host for our special day was brilliant he made sure everything was perfect and all our guests were well catered for. The team at the Talbot should be very proud of themselves - The venue is perfect for an intimate wedding with up to 60 guests. From the day we first visited the venue up to our wonderful wedding day the staff were attentive and very professional. They all made every possible effort to ensure we had a perfect wedding. We got married on Monday, we had a ceremony and evening celebration. Krystyna and the team on the evening could not have done more to make this such a special and memorable day for us. We had guests that had traveled far and everyone said how wonderful the hotel was.

We had the most relaxed and lovely wedding day at the Talbot. The preparation and planning was made easy by Krystyna, no question was too silly! The actual day was run very smoothly by Francesco and the staff were very professional and friendly. The food was amazing, even when catering for 80 adults and children in the day, and 50 more in the evening. Guests loved the setting and the buildings. The venue allowed for flexibility in outdoor, indoor, quiet and noisy spaces. Great value for money also!

We got married at the Talbot on the 9th November and our wedding was perfect. From the beginning we were confident it would run smoothly and Krystyna was great with helping us make sure everything we needed for the day was sorted. The staff on the day were great and kept everything running smoothly. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue look and how great the food was. I would recommend this venue to any engaged couples.

She made the organisation of our wedding day so simple and easy, no question was a silly one and no request was too much. The menu tasting was a great evening out - so much food! and the honeymoon suite is a classic, just beautiful. The courtyard in the evening with the twinkling lights is so pretty and the rose garden is a beautiful backdrop to our family photo shots. We couldn't of had a more perfect day!

I can’t recommend the Talbot more highly. Everything about our day was magical, the superb organisation by Krystyna ahead of the day, the attention to detail of the team on the day - no request was too big, the food was delicious, the suppliers who work with the team, and the venue itself received so many amazing comments from our guests. We have so many special memories of our day, we would do it all again in a heartbeat. A wedding at The Talbot will not disappoint!

We were adamant that our wedding date and getting married was the most important thing, so Krystyna helped us to adjust our plans for the day to ensure we could still go ahead. We ended up just having the ceremony at The Talbot and again, we were given amazing support to ensure that - although different - our day still went off without a hitch! In short, they went above and beyond to help us salvage our day and make sure it was the best it could possibly be. Although we have no intention of getting married again - when we next have a big celebration, and indeed if we decide to redo our reception next year, we will keep The Talbot in mind - it's a beautiful venue with a wonderful and supportive team. Thank you so much for making our dream day a reality - even within these strange times!

Very generally the whole vibe of the day was exactly what we'd wanted so we were very glad to have chosen The Talbot for our wedding day. We had lots of positive comments from all of our guests as well!
