From start to finish every part of our special day was made perfect by Emma, Leigh-Anne, Sangita and the whole team at The Bull. The outstanding service, amazing food and beautiful location really did give us memories to treasure forever! The accommodation was wonderful and a tasty breakfast too!

We recently had the pleasure of helping to organise our daughter and son-in-law’s July wedding at the Bull Hotel, Wrotham. The venue was ideal from several perspectives: firstly, the country setting provided a variety of picturesque photographic opportunities and, to complement this, we were able to personalise ‘The Buttery’ as well as the outside courtyard area and marquee. This provided an ambience which was both unique and intimate. In addition, Guests were able to stay at the venue throughout the weekend enjoying high quality rooms and services. We knew of the Bull’s reputation for fine food and wines and we were delighted with the superb Wedding Breakfast which exceeded our expectations for vegan and non-vegan guests. The staff were exceptional both in the lead up and during the weekend of the wedding, making sure the needs of all the party were catered for at all times. We can’t thank them enough for making it such a joyful and memorable event!

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of getting married at The Bull in July 2021. We cannot thank The Bull staff enough for their attention to detail and unparalleled level of service throughout the weekend. Prior to booking our wedding, we knew of The Bulls excellent food menu, however, what was provided on the day well and truly surpassed our expectations, catering exceptionally for both Vegan and Meat options. The hotel rooms were perfect for our preparations and guests all enjoyed the convenience of staying on site. The ceremony and reception venue allow for a truly intimate wedding experience - Everything was seamless from start to finish. We got married at The Bull on 19th June this year and had the most amazing day! Despite social distancing restrictions, the team managed to make our day feel intimate and romantic, and went above and beyond for us and our guests.
We were blown away by the whole day - especially by the food which was incredible!! We also got to have most of our family and friends stay over in the hotel rooms and join us for breakfast the next morning. I would highly recommend The Bull for any couples looking for a small, low-key, fun wedding - we absolutely loved ours. A massive thank you to Emma, Leigh-Anne and Sangita and everyone else at The Bull!

We always wanted a smaller wedding, which is what attracted us to The Bull. We fell in love with the venue as soon as we visited. Our wedding ended up being half the size we originally planned, due to Covid, but it was still amazing. The Buttery is beautiful, and you really can customise it to fit your theme. The indoor and outdoor space is great. The team there are amazing, very responsive to queries and they were really supportive (when lockdown after lockdown left us wondering whether it’d ever happen). The food is amazing. We went for the smokehouse option as we had a fairly informal wedding, and we had so many compliments about the food!

We cannot overstate how wonderful our special day at The Bull Hotel was! It is a fabulous venue with a great team of people. We knew we'd found the right venue as soon as we went to their wedding fair in February 2019 as it had such a great feeling about it, so we booked it for our wedding whilst we were there for 16 November 2019. The Wedding Coordinator, Leigh Anne, is absolutely wonderful! She was there to help us with the planning at every stage from day 1 and kept everything on track and running smoothly. Their approved partners, Locate to Create & Esta's Chair Covers, were also a great help in preparing the setting for our wedding. The food tasting evening was a great experience and gave us the chance to sample their delicious food before we made our choice for the Wedding Breakfast. Our wedding date arrived soon enough and it was just the most perfect day. From start to finish it ran like clockwork. We had 50 day guests and a further 50 evening guests, and everyone said how fabulous it was! The Buttery is such a beautiful and adaptable space for weddings, and it was turned around several times during the day for the Ceremony, the Wedding Breakfast and then the Evening Celebrations, during which times we all retired to the main bar . We had a Harpist during the Ceremony, our own choice of instrumental music during the Wedding Breakfast and a live band for the Evening Celebrations. The food and wine at the Wedding Breakfast was superb, and was served perfectly. The bar staff and waiting staff were excellent all day and were smart, polite, professional and friendly. All of the rooms at The Bull were booked out for us and our guests, and our stays in the beautiful rooms were lovely. We couldn't have asked for anything better for our wedding day, and our wonderful memories will stay with us always. Our guests still tell us how fabulous the day was and how much they enjoyed themselves. We still look back and talk about how perfect the whole day was even as we approach our first anniversary. We would not hesitate to recommend The Bull Hotel as the perfect wedding venue!

We always wanted a very small wedding and during a Google search we saw this beautiful venue and knew it was what we wanted! We was always in close contact with the wedding coordinator, especially during the pandemic. It was an amazing day. All the staff took great care of us. The venue is the perfect space for a beautiful wedding and the rooms are amazing. The whole wedding party couldn't believe how special the day was. Thank you.

Helpful, adaptable, intimate, kind, just lovely. The guys at the bull were so helpful. They were there when you needed them but not hovering. The food was amazing . Great value for money. We only had a tiny wedding but they made it feel just as big and important as a big wedding. we had the best time and couldn't have asked for a better day.

We had our mixed sex civil partnership at the Bull in February 2020. Leigh Anne and the team helped us make it such a fun and relaxed day. The team were flexible and accommodating, allowing us to design the day exactly as we wanted it. Everyone who came said what a great venue it was. We will always have such fond memories of the day and wish we could do it all over again!

As soon as we visited the Bull, we knew it was exactly what we were looking for - we loved the Buttery and rooms and they exceeded our expectations on the day.
The initial meetings were really relaxed and we loved their flexible approach from decorating the venue to scope of increasing/decreasing numbers up to 6 weeks before. There was constant communication, the price was competitive and the list of local suppliers they recommended were amazing - we used the florist at Borough Green, DJ Anton and room decorators - Locate to Create and we were so happy with them. The day itself was seemless, we worked with Sangita and she was cool, calm and collected, she had complete control over the day and was always to hand. I would also like to say that the staff were amazing as as well - polite, helpful and happy to be there which was really important and added to the atmosphere. The food was even better then we expected, every single person commented on the quality and size of the portions - dinner service was seamless and no one was sat waiting. Everyone also commented on the venue, lovely rooms and it was so good to have breakfast with our guests the morning after. We truly had the best day ever and as a venue I could not fault it and is perfect for an intimate, relaxed wedding and would highly recommend

From the moment we first spoke to the lovely Leigh Ann about planning our wedding until, Saturday 31st August 2019 when we said " I Do ", we believed we had made the right choice and Oh My Goodness we were so right. The hotel is beautiful, cosy and quirky, The Buttery is absolutely stunning, the food is delicious, but Leigh Ann and every single member of the team, are the reason it was all so perfect. Truly, nothing was too much trouble and they really made us all feel at home. We arrived to a warm welcome and left feeling like we have made friends for life. Our wedding was held at The Bull in Summer 2019 and we had an amazing day. Leigh Anne couldn't do enough for us in the run up to our day and on the day itself! We had to tweak the menu and drinks on offer due to dietary requirements but this was never an issue, she also helped us to arrange our seating plan and gave us numerous ideas for decoration. On the day Leigh Anne helped the groomsmen with their button holes, check on us ladies throughout the morning, helped turn the room around between the ceremony, wedding breakfast and the evening reception and just helped the day run so smooth. There are plenty of beautiful, quaint places for photos to be taken in and around The Bull and the food on offer is absolutely delicious, such big portions too!
We are so happy we found this incredible venue and recommend it to anyone thinking of tying the knot. We'll be back soon for another meal and a cosy up in front of the fireplace! Thank you to everyone at The Bull who helped make our day so, so incredible.
