The beauitful Georgian Town Hall provides a unique and stunning venue for your ceremony. We are also able to offer the exclusive services of the Town Crier on your special day to announce your marriage to the town!
Ceremonies take place in the Main Chamber, which can accommodate up to 50 people seated, or up to 70 people sitting using the ledges around the room. The maximum capacity is 90 guests (including some standing). For smaller, more intimate ceremonies, chairs can be placed around the marble fireplace with its tavern clock above.
In addition to this beautiful venue, we are pleased to offer you the unique services of the Town Crier. He greets your guests on arrival and then escorts the Bride to the Main Chamber. After the ceremony, he will deliver the wedding 'cry', announcing your marriage to the town.
Set in the heart of Rye, the Town Hall is within walking distance over the cobbled streets, to a number of local reception venues. While a short drive offers a whole host of further reception options.
This historic Grade I listed building, as well as a selection of other picturesque locations very near by, provide a stunning backdrop for the perfect photographs to remember your day.
