Hotel Tresanton

The Hotel Tresanton made our wedding. From the very first moment Leila and her team understood exactly what we wanted, and then ensured we had it, and more. The venue is incredible but it’s the staff who make sure that you have the happiest day of your life - no drama or fuss, every single aspect managed - even the bits I had forgotten to arrange! I can not recommend the Tresanton highly enough. A year later and our guests are still talking about the best wedding they had been to in a decade and how they want to return to the hotel for a holiday. I would do it all again and not change a single thing...except make it last longer!

We fell in love with Tresanton on a weekend break in the summer of 2015 and as soon as we’d decided to get married we knew there was only one place possible that could offer us everything we were looking for.

Tresanton doesn’t feel like a hotel - it’s more like your own country house by the sea. The staff are like friends, nothing is too much trouble, and the location, tucked away in one of the most picturesque villages in Cornwall, is so effortlessly beautiful without being over the top. It has a charm of its own and manages to be sophisticated and relaxed at the same time.

The whole wedding experience, from initial planning to the day itself, was nothing short of perfection and that is thanks to Leila Heppell, the events organiser. Always calm and gracious, even when we made tiny changes the day before, she made the whole day run with such ease. In fact it is a day that we could live again and again and that is thanks to Leila and all the team at Tresanton: A very special place.

When we decided to get engaged, I called Tresanton and spoke to Leila, and within about 10 seconds I just knew she was incredibly good at her job, so we booked it with her that morning. Leila was so positive about how amazing our wedding could be at Tresanton. From start to finish, Leila's efficiency and attention to detail meant for a stress free 'wedmin' time. This was particularly helpful given we spend so much of our time in ibiza. All of the staff were extremely attentive. What I really like about the hotel is it's not 'in your face', with people buzzing around you, but at the same time, the service is exceptional. On the day of the wedding the speeches ran over by at least 40 minutes, yet the beef fillet came out perfectly. The cake was the best I have ever tasted. It takes serious skill to get that right. All of our guests were very impressed, including the ones who stayed at the hotel, many will be returning. We were lucky enough to stay at the hotel for two nights and we were looked after exquisitely from start to finish. I was so sad to leave. Thank you Tresanton once again for the most incredible day, we really loved it.
