Berwick Lodge is a beautiful country house set in 18 acres of stunning woodland and gardens

On the outskirts of Bristol, set in stunning grounds, is Berwick Lodge. A privately
owned and proudly independent boutique wedding venue and hotel. A hidden
secret just waiting to be discovered!

The lodge offers beauty the whole year through. The 18 acres of woodland and gardens offer stunning photo opportunities with features such as the striking 'Aphrodite's Dome', While, the 1890's house, is both charming and characterful with a plethora of original features.

Berwick is perfect for smaller weddings and elopements or can host exclusive use events with up to 100 daytime guests, and 150 for evening parties.

We wanted to thank you for the fantastic job you and the team did - both on the wedding day and in all the preparation leading up to it. The day ran really smoothly and we didn't have to do a thing in terms of organising where anyone was when - everything just happened! Berwick really was the perfect location, with all the children being able to run around freely and knowing that we had the place to ourselves. It felt very intimate, yet there was plenty of room for the 100 people and it didn't feel cramped at all. The layout was great too - it meant the dance floor always seemed full and yet people who didn't want the music had other places to go too. You were great through the entire process, helping us with the organisation and thanks as well to Paul for being so accommodating with the vegetarian and gluten free food and the way you had the table plan sorted and knew exactly who was having what made it all run smoothly.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you from myself and Darren, for helping to make our wedding day perfect. Everyone was astonished by Berwick, and thought it was beautiful. Especially the people who stayed, as the rooms are just amazing. There were so many kind words and praise for all the lovely staff, nothing was too much, and they made the day flow with easy. From breakfast, and the chef coming in early, to all the waiting staff and bar tenders, to housekeeping, all were helpful and polite. I'd like to say a special thanks to the lovely man who was helping serve dinner, such a nice chap, he also poured me a lovely glass of sweet champagne, and I'd love to know what it was, if he can remember, as it was one of the best I have tasted. And last but no means least, a massive thanks to wedding coordinator Emma for helping me though from start to finish. I felt I could ask her anything, and she would help. It was very relaxed but very professional, just perfect when planning a wedding.
