Tim and Ellie's Central London Wedding, by Chris and Hannah Photography
Today's Supplier Spotlight is a bit of a special one, as we welcome unstoppable double act, Chris and Hannah to the Wedmin blog, find out all about them and ogle one of their real weddings! Having this husband and wife team shoot your day really feeds into the idea that your photographer becomes part of the family on your wedding day. They're a family, you're a family, we all become one big happy wedding day family! Cringe-worthy statements aside, it does actually really help to have such a strong team working together when possible to get the best pictures possible from you guys. Currently, Chris is your main man for the big day, with Hannah lending a helping hand when possible whilst juggling their own growing family! The images featured today are from a wedding in September 2013, when Chris and Hannah photographed the lovely Tim & Ellie who got married at St Pauls Church in Hammersmith, then after wards in the exquisite Haymarket Hotel, London. Enjoy!Tell us about yourselves... We are Chris & Hannah and together we run a Wedding & Family photography service based in Surrey.
Our weddings take us all over the UK from locally in London all the way up to the beautiful Loch Lomond right on the edge of the water.
We provide a Natural reportage style of photography capturing the emotions of the day as it happens for you to look back on and remember the smiles, laughs and tears of joy
If you could shoot a wedding ANYWHERE, where would it be? We would love to say that if we could shoot a wedding anywhere in the world it would be very difficult as there are so many beautiful places here in the UK to start with… If I was given the choice of destination weddings in some of the places I have visited; Bali was beautiful and New York would also be an amazing place to photograph!
What makes a stand out wedding? For us a stand out wedding is those which have a great natural atmosphere and everyone is having a good time and you can talk to other photographers about for months after. The last couple of weddings I have shot you almost wanted to get on the dance floor and join the guests and found yourself singing along to the band.
Top tip for brides and grooms? From our experience both from being married and as a photographer our top tip would be Enjoy it… Its Your Day! Use the people around you to help if required.
What do you love most about your job? What we love most about the job is not only meeting so many lovely people but being able to present the images to the Bride & Groom and seeing their faces when they are reminded of that special day.
