As far ahead as you like! I always recommend a no-obligation video chat before booking. Once booked, we would usually arrange to meet in person at a later date.

Can you help us write our vows?
Yes, I can offer as much (or as little) help and guidance as you need. But it's also perfectly ok if you don't want to write your own vows - I completely understand that it really isn't for everyone.

Where are you based?
Worthing in West Sussex, but happy to travel

What other services do you offer?
Option for me to stay on as MC for the wedding breakfast and until the first dance.

My ceremonies have been described as "traditional with a twist" - a heartfelt, relaxed, modern ceremony where contemporary style and content meets traditional structure. A bespoke ceremony with all the things you love about a wedding, and none of the things you don't!

Imagine an individually-written wedding ceremony at the heart of your day, rather than just a standard script with your names dropped in. Sounds good, doesn't it?

Together, we will create your bespoke ceremony, which tells your story, and includes anything else you like: any song, poem, reading, or symbolic element, such as hand fasting, or a unity candle. I can provide advice and guidance on appropriate readings, songs etc., as well as helping you to write your own vows, if you wish. It's not everyone's cup of tea to write their own vows, and that's absolutely fine, too! I'll be here to suggest something for you, which is still personal and true to who you are.

You'll be able to stand in front of your family and friends and say some of the most important words you will ever say to each other, knowing that those words are heartfelt and carefully chosen to reflect your relationship. In the words of one of my couples: "just the way every marriage should start."

Tanya was absolutely amazing! From the moment we first spoke I knew she would be the perfect person to conduct our ceremony. She is warm, kind, friendly, personable and so understanding of how important it is to have a ceremony which reflects YOU as a couple and a family rather than the traditional (and very impersonal) registrar led approach. My husband and I were not only getting married but also bringing his three sons into a new ‘modern family’ so we wanted to ensure they were acknowledged and made to feel part of our union. Tanya orchestrated this perfectly, with a ceremony that included every element of what we described being important to us. We laughed and cried in equal measure and we will honestly remember this small part of the day as being not only emotional and heartwarming, but as the moment that we truly became husband and wife. We cannot speak highly enough of Tanya’s skills, from creating such a well balanced ceremony which our guests loved as much as we did to her immaculate presentation and articulation which just made us feel so at home and comfortable in her presence. Every detail was planned out and it ran so smoothly, from leading our guests to take their seats to inviting the boys up to sign our certificate (which was just one of her fantastic ideas) to telling guests when to throw the confetti! We wanted a ceremony that reflected us, was informal, fun, refreshing, non-traditional and included our wonderful boys and Tanya achieved that and so much more! We are truly grateful to have found someone who understands how important those moments are to you and we both reflect on our wedding ceremony with so much joy and happiness, it honestly was the best part of our wedding day and that is all due to Tanya. We had an EXCELLENT experience from start to finish with Tanya for our Wedding day. Everything from the first email, initial meet up- to the actual Wedding day.
