I’ve been an American television news correspondent for over 30 years so I know the importance of keeping an audience engaged and attentive. Alison Ann had our guests howling with laughter, weeping happy tears, and feeling the joy and grace of our beautiful wedding day. The #1 question we’ve been asked is, “Where did you ﬁnd your celebrant?!” In the weeks preceding the ceremony, Ali’s preparation, personalisation and thoroughness in getting to know us, both as individuals and as a couple, were incomparable. And bonus: she has the voice of an angel! Ali re-orchestrated a version of Andrea Bocelli’s “The Lord’s Prayer” that had our guests moved to tears. She also incorporated cultural traditions into our celebration – which made the ceremony even more special. Most importantly, Alison is a genuine and beautiful person, inside and out, and we are so grateful, not only to have had her as our celebrant, but to also have a lovely new friend.
