The Engine Shed based in the heart of picturesque Wetherby, is a Grade II listed building superbly renovated to create a truly unique venue. Your wedding day is only limited by your own creativity and imagination, so let us be a part of the wedding of your dreams!

The Engine Shed is based in the heart of picturesque Wetherby and began its life as a goods shed on the Harrogate to Church Fenton railway line. Now a Grade II listed building, The Engine Shed is a family-run business renowned for its friendly service. Hire our venue exclusively for the entire day, with an experienced wedding co-ordinator to help you plan your day as well as the services of our duty manager as toastmaster.

We have a late bar licence on Fridays and Saturdays and you will receive discounted accommodation rates for your wedding party at the Days Inn Hotel and Mercure Wetherby Hotel.

With a capacity of 450 people, we have a large range of top quality facilities including two licensed bars, two dance floors and a stage, superb sound and lighting including projector and screen and ample free car parking.

Hire costs from £1000 with £13 drinks package or £1200 with a £19 drinks package, and includes our cake stand, table and knife.

I just wanted to say thank you again to you, Ricky and all your staff for all your hard work in making our wedding so perfect for us – everything looked fantastic and we really couldn’t have asked for anymore.
