A Beautiful Country Manor House surrounded by Award Winning Gardens. With the flexibility of the Lawrence and Cawthorne Ballrooms or the more intimate Rose Room to choose from we are sure to be able to cater for your needs.

Our packages are designed to minimise the worry of working out the costs of your wedding. However, if you would prefer, we would be happy to quote for any ideas that you may have for your special day.

We are pleased to announce that you are able to perform your Wedding Ceremony, Civil Partnerships and Renewal of Vows in our Historic Building or our Garden Temple. This will be conducted by the Local Official Registrar located in Pontefract, contactable on 01977 722670.

Depending on the size of your Wedding, the Cawthorne & Lawrence Ballrooms each hold up to 100 day guests for a Civil Ceremony followed by a traditional Wedding meal and up to 180 evening guests (depending on your evening entertainment).

We have the availability of extending up to 200 day guests and 300 evening guests utilising both Ballrooms.

The Rose Room holds up to 28 guests for your Ceremony and Wedding Meal.

Me and my amazing husband were married on the 26th of august 2017 and i would like to praise all at rogerthorpe manor for making our fabulous day so special from beggining to end! Our day was perfect! I would like to thank all staff, especially my wedding planner karen hunter she was fantastic! Our wedding was planned in detail over many months and thankfully all went to plan! I would highly recommend any couple to have rogerthorpe as their wedding venue! I would do it all over again it was perfect!!!!

Just had my wedding here and it was perfect! We did it a bit differently having a small ceremony and family meal on the Friday in the Oak and Rose rooms, with a party the following day in the Cawthorne suite. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was out of this world, and the accommodation was unbelievable (we stayed in suite 16)!
