Surrounded by 650 acres of rolling Welsh countryside, the former stately home has striking features at every turn.

The castle has four enchanting suites that exude character and historical splendour; with arched windows and oak panelling each suite evokes romance that has lasted the test of time. Exchange your vows in the resplendent Oak Room which offers stunning views of the serpentine lake. Then mingle with your honoured guests before making your way to the majesty of the Courtyard Hall for your wedding breakfast. Choose from our wide selection of luxury menus, as well as a variety of drinks packages to compliment your menu choices.

Once you’ve tied the knot, enjoy the remainder of your special day in a romantic setting that is perfect for celebrating. Our Courtyard Hall offers a lavish setting enclosed within the Castle walls and overlooking the landscaped inner courtyard. Complete with its own dance floor and bar, the venue can accommodate wedding parties up to 180 and offers a stunning setting for a party like no other - which is exclusively yours for your special day.

We had the most wonderful wedding day at Hensol Castle. There was nothing that was too much and Matthew and the team went over and above to make sure our day went without a single hitch. The venue was stunning, the food received so many complements and if I could do it all again I would here. The best service, that aimed to make it as easy and as stress free for me as possible. I would highly recommend.

Well what can I say Hensol Castle ... just wow (5* is most definitely not enough)
Our wedding here on the 9th September was out of this world. From the time we booked the venue in 2014, we dealt with Matthew Bowen who was incredibly professional. Laura Thomas took over as co-ordinator not long before the wedding, I was apprehensive that someone new had taken over the wedding with not too long to go before the big day , but no email (from me) was too much for her to deal with and she was so so helpful, I can't thank her enough for being at the end of any email helping me to relax & answering any worries I had!
On the day of the wedding , Dewi was in charge, we can't thank him enough for the incredible way he managed our day, we could not have asked for the wedding to go any smoother. The hospitality & professionalism he showed was out of this world & he is a real credit to Hensol Castle & The Vale Resort! I would recommend Hensol castle to anyone who would listen.

We had our wedding here and wow what a venue. From the start nothing was ever too much, they were happy to accommodate in so many ways. The food on the day was absolutely delicious and everyone said how fantastic it was. We had the resident DJ on the night as well who kept the party going all night long no one wanted the evening to end! Our day was perfect in every way. Would highly recommended for anyone to get married here
