Temple Island is a stunning island situated a mile and a half downstream from Henley-on-Thames, on one of the most beautiful stretches of the River Thames.
Located amidst rolling water meadows and surrounded by wooded hills, it marks the Start of the famous Henley Royal Regatta Course.
Outside of the Regatta period, Temple Island is available for hire from April through to the end of October.
On Temple Island we can accommodate for up to 40 guests in the main Etruscan Room, or with the addition of an elegant marquee up to 120 can be hosted on the Island.
We can also recommend local celebrants for a blessing on the Island, in the Etruscan room or outdoors on the front lawn. Whilst the Island does not have a licence for wedding ceremonies, there are churches and a registry office nearby, or you may choose to complete the legal formalities elsewhere.
