The University Women's Club is an exclusive townhouse in Mayfair, available for private hire.

A grade II listed townhouse, located in a superb central location in the heart of Mayfair, highly convenient for the exclusive shopping districts of Bond Street, Knightsbridge and Sloane Square, the beautiful building and garden have a warm and quirky ambience.

The handsome red brick and sandstone house was designed by TH Wyatt and built for Lord Arthur Russell in 1876. It has been the home of the University Women’s Club since 1921 and today it provides a welcoming environment for graduate, professional and business women of all ages.

The University Women’s Club is now available for private hire for events and dining. We offer three elegant rooms for weddings, along with a beautiful garden that is a perfect space for celebratory drinks, making the Club an exclusive venue! To hire rooms, you do not need to be a member. The entire event from pre-wedding cocktails, through the ceremony, reception and celebrating until late can be held in the same beautiful surroundings.
