Hever Castle offers three venues for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Whether it’s the country house atmosphere of The Astor Wing, the stately grandeur of the Castle itself or the stunning lakeside location of The Italian Garden, Hever Castle is wedding venue to suit all your wedding day dreams
If you are considering numbers of 80 – 180 guests, our Italian Garden is the perfect place for your special day! An Italian Garden Wedding is hosted in the stunning surrounds of the beautiful gardens at Hever and utilises the lakeside ‘Loggia’ for a wedding ceremony and The Guthrie Pavilion for the wedding breakfast and evening reception.
Ceremonies for up to 180 guests take place under the beautiful arched columns of the Italian Loggia overlooking the 38 acre lake. This magical lakeside location can also be extended to your drinks reception where guests can take in the views from the stone piazza complete with our very own Trevi inspired fountain.
Extensively refurbished in Palladian style, The Guthrie Pavilion offers vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling arched windows making for a light and airy atmosphere from day into night without losing the romantic backdrop of the lake and gardens. The Guthrie Pavilion can accommodate up to 180 for a wedding breakfast and an additional 40 guests for the evening reception.
There is limited availability for both the Loggia and the Guthrie Pavilion, so please get in touch to learn more.
For a more intimate wedding of 60 or less, we have the Astor Wing, in the Castle itself for both the wedding ceremony and breakfast. If you're looking to have a larger reception later in the day then the Moat Restaurant, overlooking the castle, can take up to 120.
