Old Down Estate is the home of wedding excellence; a stunning MANOR house and BARN situated in 66 acres of beautiful park land exclusively yours for your special day.

A wedding completely tailored to you: what better way to make your special day and wow your guests?
At Old Down we understand you only want to share your wedding day with those you love and we therefore give you exclusive use of your chosen venue for the duration of your special day.
Enjoy the light, spacious, elegance of the reception rooms and orangery; relax using the indoor pool; soak up the panoramic views from every window; admire the crystal chandeliers as you travel down the sweeping Bath stone staircase and revel in the decadence of a Manor House which you own for the day.
Alternatively take in your surroundings in our converted Barn which offers a wonderfully intimate space showcasing exposed beams, stone walls, flagstone floor and open fires, the period features add a wonderful backdrop to capture the romance of the day.
Beyond the Barn doors, our beautifully presented garden is the picture-perfect environment in which to hold an outdoor ceremony. Included in your Barn hire, the manicured lawn features a classic white pergola and is exclusively yours for the duration of your special day.
Our dedicated chefs deliver the very best in fine dining, specialising in both modern and traditional cuisine.

We had our wedding reception at Old Down Manor at the beginning of July.

The venue was absolutely stunning, I remember we both fell in love with it when we'd come for a viewing the year before. The views, the décor, the layout, and the bedrooms are all simply stunning. I love that everything is neutral, which means that any colour scheme works fantastically!

I want to say a special thank you to Emma, Jason, and Molly who helped us with the planning, and looked after us excellently on the day. They made sure that everything was seamless, and that us and the guests thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Myself, my husband, and all our wedding guests were blown away by the level of care and attention to detail that was given to us.

We had our wedding at The Barn on the 24th Aug and I have to say, Lucy and the team at Old Down were just amazing. She made everything really easy and was very accommodating. Nothing we asked was too much trouble. On the day, everything went exactly as we wanted it to and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. All of our guests said how great the venue, gardens, food and staff were. We really couldn’t have asked for a better day!

We recently got married at old down and wow the manor is amazing with amazing views. Emma has been nothing but helpful we originally were getting married at another venue but 2 months before wedding the venue suffered water damaged which then we found old down. Emma helped us so much in getting our wedding sorted in the very short space of time which took a massive load of stress off us.
