I specialise in story telling wedding photography. I won’t boss you around, tell you to say cheese or ask you to stare into the middle distance. The wedding photographs I deliver are honest, humorous and truthful.
My style of could be described as documentary, reportage or candid wedding photography. These are not just buzzwords that I use, but is how I approach wedding photography. Whilst it is true that every wedding photographer shoots a certain number of documentary type photographs at every wedding, what sets me apart is that documentary wedding photography is central to my ethos, I’m a specialist in this genre.
For me, a wedding is not just about the happy couple, but about the friends, the family and the stories that intertwine these relationships. At heart I’m a people watcher, I love seeing the interactions between people, be it moments of comedy, or those subtle, tender moments. Photographing these interactions is what makes me tick and what I based my entire wedding photography outlook on. I like my photographs to tell stories, I want you to look at them and notice the little things, a flower girl picking her nose, a quirky family member taking a sneaky snapshop, or the reaction of your guests as you take to the dance floor.
