Tomos is a professional, highly experienced, and flexible harpist available for weddings, recitals, and orchestral gigs, covering the UK. What could be more magical than walking down the aisle to your favourite love song being played on the fairy-tale sound of the harp?
I am an international award-winning harpist with over 15 years of performing experience, and am honoured to have given solo performances for the late HM The Queen and at Downing Street, performances on prime-time national TV and in venues such as the Wigmore Hall, Windsor Castle, the Grand Connaught Rooms, The Ritz, and I regularly entertain guests at the Waldorf Hilton Hotel for Afternoon Tea. I received my Master's degree in Harp Performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire in Greenwich and was awarded the prestigious John Marson prize for an outstanding harpist, and other prizes include First Medal at the UFAM international competition in Paris and 1st Prize at the National Eisteddfod in Wales.
As someone who recently got married myself, I understand that the most important thing is to make sure that your day goes as smoothly, professionally, and most importantly as magically as it can, and so my main focus is to provide a friendly and highly informative service months before the big day comes.
The first thing to think about is the type of music you may like - this is your chance to make your wedding day special and tailored for you and your partner. I have played a huge range of repertoire in weddings in the past (some examples include songs by Ed Sheeran, The Beatles, Kate Bush, jazz standards, film soundtracks as well as all the classical repertoire such as Canon in D by Pachelbel and the Bridal March by Wagner).
