What can I say .... from the moment we arrived to the moment we left nothing was too much trouble. We spent 3 nights at the hotel for my sisters wedding and I can honestly say the attention to detail didn’t go unmissed. The staff were amazing and always on hand. The surroundings and grounds to the hotel are simply stunning and should be admired. Thank you for making our stay fantastic and for everything on the day for my sister and my now brother-in-law.

We stayed at Cragwood to attend my sister and bother-in-law’s Vow Renewal ceremony. What a wonderful place; food is amazing and the staff cannot do enough for you. The rooms are all beautifully decorated and very clean with a lovely touch of complimentary bottled water from the Cragwood Estate. The gardens and views of the lake are stunning. It’s the perfect setting for any celebration.

We recently spent 2 nights at Cragwood for a ‘just us’ wedding. It was amazing from start to finish. Booking the wedding was easy and the wedding coordinator was in touch via email. She responded promptly to any questions I had and I felt like I hardly had to do anything! On arrival, We were greeted by lovely staff who made us feel welcome and at ease. The room and food was beautiful throughout our stay. On the day of the wedding, everything was very relaxed. We were told what time we needed to be ready for and that was it! Everything was done for us! The rain held off and we were able to get married outside which the hotel staff catered for by placing speakers outside so we could hear our music. The day flowed perfectly and was just amazing! Thank you so much to the staff at Cragwood for making our day very special. Beautiful venue. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and professional staff. Everything that we wanted!

Myself and my partner got married here 07/05/19 and we cannot thank the staff enough for everything they've done to make our stay such a wonderful experience. Stacey and Emily helped me plan the wedding and I could not have been happier with the help, and whilst there everyone was brilliant! I could not have imagined getting married anywhere more beautiful. The grounds were simply stunning, and the food was amazing! They easily catered for the various allergies of my guests and ensured everything went smoothly. Albert and Trudy also helped so much during our stay and I cannot sing their praises enough.

We got married here a week ago and it was perfect! We were greeted on arrival and allowed into our room early. I had been corresponding with Stacey and her team and at the last minute added our puppy to the guest list! Nothing was too much trouble, even down to the food orders, some gluten and nut free. Staff were attentive and all very happy! Our wedding day went smoothly, the team has everything in hand! Thank you so much.

The staff were absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them, they were great with my sons as well and made us feel really welcome. There was no stress in the run up to the wedding, everything was taken care of beforehand by Stacy and Albert. Cannot recommend them enough! Can’t wait to come back for our anniversaries!

The whole experience of my sister’s wedding there was amazing. The hotel itself was beautiful, the grounds gorgeous. What actually makes the hotel is the staff. From start to finish the staff could not do enough, they were friendly and helpful and made a fuss of my son who is 7. Particular shout out to Ian who made my son feel included. If that’s not good enough the food is amazing!!!!!!! I did not want to leave and we will be going back, thank you so much.

From the moment you meet the Hotel’s efficient and friendly wedding co-ordinator to your departure after the wonderful event you will find characterised by tranquillity, organisation and happiness. An ideal place for an intimate wedding like ours with just a small group of friends. We were ‘sold’ on the venue after meeting the staff and standing in the amazing gardens which stretch to the lake. We enthused about the quality of the food. Be aware this is not standard wedding fodder, dinner here is excellent. Imaginative menu with a flair for flavour combinations. Wine list is first class for value. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, the reception rooms invite lazy reading and relaxing. All that said Weddings are about the details and that takes careful and knowledgeable management. Book here if you want a wedding where the pressure is taken from you because the staff service, at every level, is outstanding. We are joining the very popular list of returning couples we met, re visiting happy memories of their day.

I had a ‘just us’ wedding at the hotel and I have to say they provided 5-star treatment throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. If everyone could see how a wedding could be so relaxed, everyone would be getting married here. They made it feel private for you and even having an 18 month old running around on the loose, they was very accommodating. The food was incredible too. The views and the grounds of the hotel are stunning. We plan on returning every anniversary as we had such a good experience here.
