We cannot praise the Green highly enough! The venue was in an ideal location and with such flexibility with the on site facilities it was perfect! From start to finish the team were so professional and nothing was too much trouble. Michelle and Fiona were particularly helpful in the planning stages, replying to emails promptly and ensuring that every small detail was covered.
On the weekend itself Charlotte and Colin continued this attention to detail, ensuring that we were confident with all of the stages. It all ran seamlessly and meant that we didn’t need to worry about anything.
The cottages and farmhouse were absolutely ideal. They are maintained to a very high standard and the fact that we could spend time with our family and friends on the Friday evening and Saturday morning really added to how special the weekend was.
The Green clearly pride themselves on providing an impeccable service and really invest in their staff and the site itself. This was truly noticed and appreciated by not only ourselves but also our guests who were raving about the venue! I cannot not recommend the Green and their lovely staff highly enough! Thank you.

The Green was the perfect place for us to get married. From our first initial visit right through to the morning after, our wedding was handled with such friendly professionalism. The venue itself is simply stunning and we were lucky enough to have sunshine on the big day which was amazing and meant we were able to have the ceremony under their beautiful oak arbour. The weekend was so relaxed and full of laughter which was exactly what we were looking for. Michelle was brilliant in the run up to wedding and answered all questions efficiently and Charlie was incredible to have with us on the day making sure everything ran smoothly and everyone was well looked after. It was truly such a fabulous weekend and we can’t thank the Green Team enough for all their hard work.

To be completely honest we could have got married in a multi-storey car park, as all we wanted to do was to share our vows, and to be married to each other.
But we wanted to find somewhere more special, and to be able to have the perfect ceremony, the perfect experience, the perfect day. We feel so lucky to have found The Green, as not only was it the perfect location for our wedding weekend, but also had the perfect people to help us.
Throughout the process everyone was wonderful, and even though Michele had to draw the line at our suggestion of indoor fireworks launched from the wedding cake, she made sure that everything we wanted happened. From the moment we saw just how organised they were (I think the office filing system is a thing of beauty) we knew we in safe hands.
The weekend itself was as perfect as we could have imagined. From the moment we arrived and sat down with Kate to sort out the final few details, to the moment we drove away in the rain wishing we could have done it all over again the next day. All the guests staying with us over the weekend we blown away by the quality of the facilities and the cottage.
The main house, and especially the kitchen and garden became the hub of the weekend and the perfect setting for a (gentle) party on the Friday night. The Wedding Barn looked wonderful the next day (huge thanks to Alison at Flower Scene), as did all the grounds despite the threat of rain in the distance. Not that it mattered as there were enough umbrellas for a small army, The Green just had every little detail covered.
The ceremony was fun and full of love, and one of us looked a lot more beautiful than the other one. After drinks in the Green Room, it was time for the party to start in the Red Brick Barn which looked flawless. Having had the opportunity to taste the great food the Chef and his team produce at the tasting day, we were excited for dinner, and the sharing platters were perfect for our lot. No fuss, just dig in and share. Everything was delicious.
Totally Funked Up provided the evening entertainment, and got even the most ardent non-dancers up for at least a couple of songs. As soon as they played Proud Mary the entire place (at least all the Northerners) were on the dancefloor. Thanks to Chris and all the guys in the band, you did an incredible job!
The great thing is that thanks to Grant Lampard, we can look back on some beautiful photos of the day, he captured the fun and energy of the day immaculately.
The entire day and night (and late into the night) was orchestrated seamlessly by Kate, she simply was incredible. I think it summed it up when one of our friends said to me “I want a Kate, to just sort everything out for me as well!”
If we could, we would love to come back every year for a party! Thanks to everyone at The Green, you are amazing, our wedding really was the most incredible day of our lives.

We went to the green for our sons wedding in December 2017. Wow. It was beautiful. I don't think you could find a better venue to get married if you tried. We stayed for 2 days. The accommodation was 1st class. They have everything you need. They even had tea coffee sugar and milk waiting for you. The beds were very comfortable and everywhere was warm. The grounds are beautiful. We all gathered in the big house on the eve of the wedding and started the celebrations early. The wedding itself was perfect in every way. The staff were fantastic. The food was gorgeous. In fact I cannot find anything wrong with the place. I wish we could do it all again as it was so perfect. The photographs were beautiful. I would recommend this venue to anyone thinking of getting married. Thankyou to the green.

The catering was excellent and covered some difficult dietary requirements and last minute changes without any dramas. We got married here in late May 2014. The venue and grounds are beautiful and the accommodation is of a very high standard. It was wonderful to have so many of our close friends and family staying on site. Moira, Mike and Morwenna are lovely people and that made planning the wedding much easier. On our wedding day they were on hand to make sure everything ran smoothly. Our ceremony was in the barn which created a very special atmosphere, and the Green Room was perfect for dinner and dancing later on! We can't wait to return here for a holiday and would wholeheartedly recommend The Green.

Well all I can say is what an amazing venue!!!! The cottages and the main house are superb, staff are so friendly and helpful, we loved every minute. Being able to spend three days at this magical place with our nearest and dearest and having the honour of being married here, will be a special memory I will cherish forever!

Where do I begin... 2.5 years ago we looked and booked and we finally tied the knot on Saturday 4th October 2014, and what a lovely stay we had from Friday till Monday. We could not have been luckier with the weather!

We hired 'The Green', all cottages & the farmhouse, for our daughter's wedding for the whole weekend of 1st November 2014.
We had a lovely weekend with all of our relatives being able to stay in the beautiful, well equipped cottages and Farmhouse.
The staff were very helpful and always available if we needed them.
The Wedding Ceremony took place in the 'Barn', decorated tastefully, even with fresh bales of straw for the Bridesmaids to sit on!
'The Green' proved to be an ideal venue for a 'rustic' style wedding. (And it stayed dry for us!)
The Wedding meal & reception was in the 'Green' room, with ample space for our guests - 60 for the meal & over 100 for the evening reception.The room was looking spectacular, with beautifully decorated tables and suitable lighting. The food, professionally prepared on the premises by 'The Haycart', was excellent
So, 'The Green' is highly recommended for a comfortable, warm and quiet stay in the spectacular Cornish countryside!
It's also a superb venue for a Wedding, with loads of accommodation available in the Cottages & Farmhouse.

We are so so pleased that we decided to hold our special day at The Green. We could not have asked for a more beautiful setting, our wedding day was everything we wanted & more. The sun shone for us even though we had an October wedding. It was just perfect.
From the very start of us booking our wedding with Moira and the team, nothing was ever too much trouble. The Green organised everything from the style of catering, to the evenings entertainment. I think it's fair to say that every single one of our guests either complimented us on the venue, the food or the band that played in the evening.
The Green gave us details of the most fantastic photographer and hairdressers. There was not a thing for us to worry about, even though we live 280 miles away in Hertfordshire. It was a truly fantastic weekend which will be hard for us and our guests to forget in a hurry.
We can't wait to come back and stay at The Green in the future.
