Wynyard Hall

I would like to commend Wynyard Hall staff and the wedding team for making our day utterly wonderful, including Ashleigh (our wedding coordinator), Ryan (our master of ceremonies on the day), and Maarten the chef.
Ashleigh was such a warm, conscientious and hugely organised lady who made every moment of our journey easy to follow, who reassured us at each stage, who went above and beyond on her communications with chef and reservations on our behalf, and who – on a personal level – provided much needed support to me as a very emotional bride having lost my father in recent times and perhaps needing my hand holding more than most. Whilst I consider myself an organised person, I didn’t need to worry that Ashleigh had the same items on her list as I did, because she always did.
On the morning of our wedding, Ashleigh came to our bridal room and introduced me to Ryan. I didn’t quite know what to expect from a master of ceremonies – I wasn’t sure anyone could make sure things ran as smoothly and militarily as I wanted them to….I was wrong. Ryan collected my iPad which had the important pieces of music on, he instinctively knew the questions I wanted to ask and asked them before I could….he was completely alive to the need for perfection and ensured that is exactly why was achieved by his team.
Throughout the remainder of the day, he spent so much time checking on the groom and myself, checking we were happy and spent time circulating around our guests to check they were happy with their meals. In the evening, when he was supposed to be going home, he went behind the bar to make a cocktail for a guest to make sure she was happy with it.
This level of attention to detail and service cannot go without praise. Ryan is a real superstar!
And finally to Maarten. Fabulous! Prior to our wedding I spoke with Maarten on the phone following our menu tasting, he took my comments on board and produced a meal which of exceptionally high quality. We were so proud to serve it to our guests who have commented on the taste and quality of the food.

A huge thank you for absolutely everything – all your patience, help and advice… The wedding was just perfect, the whole day ran so smoothly, the food was perfect, the service was amazing and the setting was beautiful. All our guests commented on what a lovely time they had and we can’t believe what an amazing day it was.

Thank you so much! The wedding was amazing, the venue was fabulous, the service excellent. Thank you so much for your support leading up to and on the day of the wedding. We will be sure to send pictures. The day was flawless. We would definitely recommend the venue, we absolutely loved it.
