Imagine it... a Glamping Village set in 175 acres of mature woodland, complete with sunset, camp fire and Nordic Barbecue hut - exclusive to your hen group. We also offer Stag Weekends, with a selection of outdoor activities including quad trekking, rafting, high ropes adventure and paintballing.

Welcome to Oaker Wood Leisure! If you are looking for a more rough and tumble Hen or Stag Weekend complete with fresh air, camp fires and plenty of laughs then we have what you need!

Situated on the Herefordshire/ Shropshire and Worcestershire border, our world of adventurous outdoor activities is set in 175 acres of mature woodland, complete with two scenic lakes. Each activity is based in its own exclusive area ensuring you can experience the great outdoors away from the crowds.

All arranged and booked as a weekend package to take the hassle out of organising your fun.

We offer glamping and activity weekends with paintballing, quad biking, clay and target shooting, and adrenalin activities.

Accommodation is in wooden pods booked exclusively for your group, and complete with electric lighting and heaters. There are bunk beds - all you need to bring is sleeping bags, duvets and pillows.

Hen Weekend

We spent the weekend here for a hen do of about 20 people. Such a great place - the facilities are excellent. We had loads of private space for the group and the staff even come and get your camp fire going for you. Would wholly recommend this place for a group get together of any sorts!

We stayed at Oakerwood for my sisters hen party. We had our own glamping village with our own sleeping pods, campfire,kitchen, bbq hut, showers and toilets. We did the Borne Obelisk and quad bikes activities which were great fun. The team who looked after us were lovely and really helpful. I highly recommend this place for families, friends or stag and hen parties

Hen Weekend

The whole place is breathtakingly beautiful. The facilities were great, and nothing was too much for the staff. There is everything you could want need and more. The staff were very knowledgeable, safe and fun at the activities and I honestly could not recommend this place enough! I would go back in a heartbeat, and now only want to get engaged so I can have my hen party here!

The set-up of the "camp" was ideal. There's a large communal enclosed area for cooking and relaxing, with a fridge that is a good size to hold a weekends supply of beer, plus some food. If you're looking for a place to hold your stag or hen weekend then I'd give Oaker Wood serious consideration. I'm sure you wont be disappointed.

Even in a slightly cold, rainy October weekend Oaker Wood was fantastic for a stag do. There were 16 of us, well housed in the cabins which were pleasantly warm and long enough beds to sleep even the taller members of our stag group. The facilities were great, with everything we needed to cook and BBQ all our meals. The warm showers were greatly appreciated at the end of the day. I think it's safe to say the fire pit was our favourite feature, keeping up all warm throughout the weekend. Would highly recommend.
