Set in the heart of the South Downs National Park, Upwaltham Barns allows you to escape to a world of laid-back romance. This beautiful barn wedding venue offers the perfect setting for your special day and is exclusively yours to enjoy as you wish.

The barns are full of charm and character, offering rustic elegance for your celebrations. The shabby-chic Jasmine Cottage has a delightful balcony where you can prepare ahead of the wedding and then secretly watch as your guests begin to arrive. The East Barn is perfect place to say “I do”. The rustic ceremony barn has a wonderful atmosphere and longs to be filled with your happiness, love and laughter!
Following your romantic ceremony, your guests can flow out onto the flower-filled courtyard to mingle and enjoy a few relaxed drinks. The spacious courtyard is very much the heart of the venue and can even play host to hog roasts and barbeques in the evening. The bar and lounge are also available for drinks before and after your delicious wedding breakfast.
The spacious South Barn is the ideal setting for your reception. The wooden beams and neutral colour scheme will complement any of your decorations perfectly. The barn has a warm and inviting atmosphere whatever the season.

Terrible experience, we booked in lockdown 2021 for a 2023 wedding and was given false information ! Once we booked and put down deposits and signed contracts ! , they then decided to mention they are adding extras to the prices in 2023 and wanted more money . I got intouch and complained about this and was passed to the wedding planner who told me by email that I could cancel without any problems because I booked in lockdown ! After many more conversations with the owners we wasn’t happy with the attitude towards us or the new plans which would cost us more . The trust had gone ! So we asked to cancel without any problems and deposits back as was given false information when we booked ! ( which WAS OFFERED to us in the email we got from Chelsea the wedding planner )But The owners wouldn’t allow this and ended up keeping all our deposits ! Over £4000 ! We lost it all ! I even offered to compromise in the end that they could keep £1000 and return the rest , and they wouldn’t accept that either ! If you want a honest venue ! Don’t book this one ! I also explained to the owner in tears , my father left me this money when he died ! And how unfair this was to do this to us ! It’s didn’t matter to them , because I signed contracts . ( although the planned 2023 extras wasn’t mentioned to me when booked or in the contracts ! ) absolutely disgusted with how we’ve been treated
