The Hop Farm is a unique and beautiful barn wedding venue in the heart of the Kent countryside. Set amongst the largest collection of Victorian oast houses in the world, The Hop Farm, is a spectacular backdrop for possibly the most exhilarating day of your life.

The oak beamed and hop garlanded banqueting suite can cater for up to 120 guests for the seated wedding breakfast with an additional 80 guests for the evening reception. Whites is a tastefully converted oast bar overlooking the front lawn.
Our licensed Gazebo is located on the delightful front lawn. All sizes of weddings can make use of this facility between April to September.
For larger ceremonies and receptions we have The Dray Function Suite. A converted barn function room catering for 250 seated guests plus a further 200 in the evening.
The Dray Marquee is a permanent marquee structure attached to The Dray and offers an additional 360 sq m of space. This area can seat up to 250 guests for a dinner event. The Dray Marquee can only be used in conjunction with The Dray but makes a fabulous area for larger weddings.

All I can say it was FANTASTIC. The venue is ideal for all the family, even has childrens climbing frames etc to keep them amused. The reception venue offers 2 barns and when decorated look stunning. There are lots of added extras you can have provided by the in house catering firm which by the way have THE best food, great and huge selection to choose from and something to suit everyone.
The venue is so unique it made for a memorable day for everyone. Close by, within walking distance, are none other than 2 hotels so even if your guests are travelling from a distance they can stay over very easily.

Father of the Bride

A truly amazing day at the Hop Farm. Mandy (the wedding co-ordinator) organised the day perfectly and the attention to detail was superb. Every nod or wink was reacted upon and the meal was delivered with ease. The food was absolute quality. Catering was brilliant. We also had Dennis the toast master, a very likeable, polite, professional gentleman who ran the ceremonies to perfection. He escorted the Mother of the Bride personally to her seat ahead of the bridal party which in his full regalia looked brilliant. I cannot fault this venue or the people running it. Mandy treated us like her extended family with the same aspirations of achieving a faultless wedding. The sun shone and the evening was finished off with a small firework display. We just wanted to say a huge thank you for everything you did to ensure our wedding day was perfect. It honestly couldnt have gone any better, from start to finish, it was truly perfect. The Hop Farm looked great and the room looked stunning, even better than we had both imagined! We both agree all the Christmas decorations and lights made it have the most magical feel. We received numerous compliments from our family and friends saying how spectacular everything looked and our photos capture everything from our big day. Dan and I saw you (Mandy - Weddings Coordinator) running around behind the scenes to ensure everything went to plan and we both really appreciate all of your efforts.
