My name is Rob and I am a wedding photographer working in the Midlands, throughout the UK and sometimes internationally. I have been telling stories with my camera since childhood. After university I initially pursued a career in teaching, however, as more an more of my colleagues asked me to photograph their weddings, I realised that perhaps a career change was needed! I am married to my best friend, Naomi (who sometimes acts as a second photographer), and have three children.

I love my job; it is such a joy to share in each wonderful story and celebration of a couple's love, and it is such an honour again and again to be able to give the gift of precious memories. I enjoy the traditional and formal as well as the unique and alternative - each wedding is different just as each couple is. We knew that Rob could take beautiful photos but more than that he turned out to be the calm, organised and creative wedding photographer that we needed on the day. Rain at just the wrong moment and the digging up of the planned backdrop flower beds days before would have left a less experienced and imaginative photographer at a loss. Rob came up with some beautiful solutions and as the bride I was able to get on and enjoy the day knowing Rob would capture the memories we wanted. I have been to some weddings where the photographer is very loud and shouty, but Rob blended in perfectly and got some very natural shots of the guests.
He was so generous with his time before and after in helping us plan, being there at the rehearsal and during the morning where he got some lovely detail photos of the flowers and decorations I would have missed, and afterwards his turnaround on editing the photos was far quicker than we expected! We had everything on CD in three different styles, plus the online gallery to share and order from which made life simple for all the guests. We can’t recommend Rob highly enough!
