Susan Dobinson is an accredited, professional, UK-based celebrant, providing bespoke wedding, commitment, civil partnership and elopement ceremonies to couples and families in the UK and internationally.
Susan’s ceremonies are written after extensive collaboration with clients to ensure that they perfectly reflect love stories and lives lived. Music, poetry and other creative elements can be included. Examples include hand-fasting, jumping the broom and the unity candle but there are a multitude of special elements that may be chosen. Susan will ensure your ceremony content meets the wishes of you both and your loved ones.
‘When I first meet you, you will do most of the talking so that I understand your thoughts, wishes and any key elements that are essential for you. You will be able to ask as many questions as you wish and by the end of our first meeting, you will feel reassured of being in safe hands and we will each have a clear idea of the desired outcome. This first meeting is free to you of any charge or obligation as you must feel unrestricted in what you say and ask and feel content with my responses.’
‘When you decide that we will work together, I will start drafting the ceremony and also, if required, source potential music, poetry and any symbolic elements.
If you live a distance away, we can communicate in any way that suits you – telephone, email, text, Skype – I am totally flexible and will ensure this to be a stress-free process for you.’
Susan is happy to travel abroad for destination weddings or work with couples who may be travelling to the UK for their wedding.
