Pinkerton’s Prosecco Van is a custom-built Piaggio Apé. A cute three-wheeled vehicle that’s less than three metres long and one and half metres wide. Its back box opens up at the side and rear to reveal two pairs of taps that deliver perfectly chilled Frizzante (the name for Prosecco that comes in kegs), beer or any other beverages that can be delivered by this method. Pinkerton’s Prosecco Van operates as a pay bar, taking cash or contactless payments at festivals, fairs and other public events. Pinkerton’s Prosecco van is delivered on-site by trailer or transit van and simply hooks up to a provided power supply or a small and quiet inverter generator.
