Hidden River Cabins

Me and my wife got married here a few weeks ago. There isn't a lot that I can say about this place, that others haven't already said. The wedding went perfectly. Having booked the venue 14 months earlier, and the usual worries on the weeks heading up to the big day, Nic and her team ensured that everything went smoothly on the day. We got married in the Foxglove cabin, which had brilliant views for the wedding photos. The food at the wedding breakfast was delightful and the room decorations in the reception building were exactly how we wanted. Somehow, Nic went the extra mile and managed to get the weather to be perfect for the day - I don't know how she did it! If you are looking for a beautiful wedding venue that will deliver your dream wedding, then I recommend HRC. After the wedding, we stayed in the Roe Deer cabin for the week. The cabins really are 5 star accommodation. The cabins are packed with everything you would ever need for a week in the middle of no where. No phone signal and no wifi make you appreciate just how nice the countryside is. Sat in the hot tub in the afternoon sun, or walking by the river in the crisp morning air, there is plenty of wildlife to stop and watch (if you're quiet enough). The reception building is a nice short walk away if you fancy a cup of tea or a light meal, and the staff in the reception are very friendly. Overall I am extremely happy we found this place. A week here is the perfect place to relax and unwind - which is probably why we have booked again for next year. Thank you HRC.

Fairytale Wedding. Bluebell cabin was a dream wedding venue! Nic, Rob and the whole team could not have been more incredible, they really helped to make our day perfect. Nothing was too much trouble and not only have we found a place to cherish forever but the team really made us feel at home and will be people we will keep in touch with for a long time to come I'm sure. We also stayed in roe deer cabin for our honeymoon which was absolutely blissful, plenty of prosecco and time in the hot tub was just what we needed after such a lovely wedding. When family and friends made their journey home, we celebrated as the new mr and mrs young together with a 2 course meal at the hidden river cafe which has to be one of the best meals we have ever eaten!
