Exclusively yours, the elegant rooms are licensed for romantic civil weddings, from the wood-panelled Goddard Room to the graceful Stephens Room. Whilst the Chapel, with stained glass windows, is idyllic for intimate Catholic ceremonies.

The stunning gardens provide the ultimate setting for your photographs with original features including the pergola walk, stone benches and fountain pond. Use of the gardens is included, with the terrace providing the perfect location for your drinks reception.

Our exceptional in-house catering team will create an unforgettable silver service dining experience. With a seated wedding breakfast accommodating between 75 and 130 guests, and up to 250 for the evening buffet. Enjoy a fully licensed bar and no corkage charges.

It was the perfect balance of beautiful outdoor space but pretty enough inside that you aren't reliant on the gardens if the weather isn't as planned! It was great to move from room to room and not have to worry about changeover of rooms. We had our ceremony at the venue too and the amount of space on offer was great. The catering service was excellent and many of our guests commented how great they were. The price was really reasonable compared to other venues we looked at. Added bonuses like no corkage charge really helped too. We'd also been really reluctant to go for a Friday wedding but our doubts were totally unfounded and I'm so glad we did - it was lovely to know that everyone else still had the whole weekend off so we could continue the celebrations on the Saturday before honeymoon on Sunday. We really had the best day. It sounds clichéd but we couldn't have asked for a better day. 15th August 2014

Woldingham sets the bar for wedding venues and planning! A very big and heartfelt thank you to Clare, Jane and their team at Woldingham for making our wedding day so special. From the day of viewing the venue to the actual wedding day we very much appreciated all the support that was given and for the day itself to have been run so smoothly. With all the queries we put to both Clare and Jane, nothing seemed to be too much hassle and this certainly contributed towards making the planning stages stress free. Woldingham staff, the food, venue and grounds certainly exceeded all expectations. All our guests were in awe of Woldingham and its grounds and they too have commented on what a perfect day it was. Woldingham School was the first, and only, venue that we viewed and once we had the tour and met the Events Manager, Clare, there was no question we would be making the booking. The venue itself is in a stunning setting with rolling hills and fields on the drive up to it. The grounds are beautiful, but the interior is also gorgeous which was very important for us as we were having a February wedding, and couldn't rely on the weather. It did rain all day, but there were plenty of locations for photographs to be taken of us, the wedding party and all the guests inside. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was, and all the catering staff headed by Jane and Keiran made everything run smoothly and professionally on the day and in advance. Clare was an angel in the background, resolving potential issues before they even occurred. She liaised with all the suppliers to ensure they arrived on time, and reassured me every step of the way. I would recommend this venue to everyone - the location and staff make you feel as special as you should on your wedding day. Thank you! 19th February 2015

When we came to visit Woldingham School for the first time we were blown away. We couldn't have pictured a more beautiful venue for our special day, from the wonderful details in each room to the huge expanse of gardens - it was absolutely breath-taking. The lay out of the venue makes it perfect for guests to mingle together and ensures the day flowed seamlessly. Of course this was also down to the excellent staff at Woldingham. We could not recommend Clare (Events Manager) highly enough, she walked us through each step of the planning process at the venue and took away any fears or worries we had about the day. Always being so flexible and catering for our needs. The catering staff (and Jane in particular) were wonderful and our guests raved about the food. Wish we could re-live the day over and over again. Woldingham School really is the perfect wedding venue. 10/10 from us! 11th July 2015

The venue itself is stunning and has an onsite chapel which was a massive positive for us. The Events Manager Clare was fantastic throughout and got back to us very quickly when we had queries, was always willing to help and have us visit when we needed to. Many comments on the quality of the food after our wedding, especially the delicious canapés, and we really enjoyed the tasting session before. Being able to bring our own wine was also a massive selling point. To anyone thinking of booking the venue, go for it, you won’t regret it! 17th July 2015

The layout of the venue is perfect. The reception room is beautiful, light and leaves a lasting first impression. The wedding breakfast room was beautifully spread so you can see everyone from the top table, while remaining spacious. The evening room has great acoustics and is a fantastic space for dancing. The gardens are stunning – perfect for photographs and for guests to spend time in away from the main house. Importantly, the space available is so great and of such quality that if the weather isn’t perfect on your special day, you and your guests will have plenty of space to enjoy each other’s company without being crammed in, as is so often the case with other venues. I can’t speak highly enough of the food. The meal and buffet were both absolutely amazing. The serving staff were fantastic and you got the impression that the people helping you organise couldn’t do enough to help you. 18th July 2015

From the moment I met Clare the venue co-ordinator I knew I would be in safe hands. A huge thank you to Clare, Jane and Sue for running our wedding day so professionally and smoothly. When meeting Jane the catering manager we were positively blown away by her over accommodating advice and reassurance. Simply superb food with mouth-watering dishes. The banqueting style of the waiting staff gives real credit to the wedding industry with extremely high quality when they served our guests. What a beautiful venue to have our wedding. We were exceptionally happy with everything on the day. Clare (our organiser and registrar) answered all our questions even up to the last minute. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer or more helpful person for our special day. The food and catering staff were exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for anything more in terms of organisation. As soon as we met Clare (Events Manager) and then Jane (Catering Manager), we knew we were in very safe hands. They both made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble, they gave us advice throughout and were both really responsive. On the day everyone was so calm, friendly and professional which made for the perfect day! As soon as we arrived at Woldingham School to look around we knew it was the venue we were looking for. It’s a stunning mansion that has a lovely feel to it and is full of character with large, light rooms, high ceilings and wooden floors. The layout works brilliantly with all the different rooms available for each stage of the day. The grounds are really beautiful too. Everyone complimented all the food, particularly the desserts! For the exclusive space, gorgeous setting, delicious food, brilliant service and all the support throughout, we felt it was great value for money. 29th May 2016

All of our guests commented on the beauty of the mansion and gardens and our photographer loved it all! We made use of the Chapel so our guests only had the very short walk to the Mansion for drinks and canapes, which were excellent. The wedding breakfast was complimented by a number of our guests. The serving was efficient and ran perfectly on schedule, which meant the cutting of the cake and first dance were spot on time. Woldingham staff were really helpful, patient and versatile. It took so much pressure off having staff who knew what they were doing and had so much experience in the wedding industry. We would both highly recommend the Mansion as a venue, and the best compliment is when the Bride wakes up the next morning and says she wouldn’t change a thing. 15th July 2016

The staff were absolutely phenomenal. If there was any question or query it was always answered extremely quickly. A lot of pressure of planning the wedding was taken away as the staff were extremely helpful and attentive through the entire process. As the old cliché goes, you had me at “hello”, Woldingham School had us as we drove down the drive the very first time and the school came into view. We just knew. By the time Clare (Events Manager) was two minutes into the tour we were ready to pay the deposit! Clare was extremely helpful and absolutely lovely from the first day we met her and throughout the wedding journey. Jane (Catering Manager) was very helpful in the lead up to our big day and all her staff were superb on the day. All our friends and family absolutely loved the venue. A magical place which has given us wonderful memories. We simply had the best day of our lives. Thank you!

We fell in love with the venue the first time we viewed it and all of our guests have been incredibly complimentary too. Marden Park’s grounds are simply stunning and the layout and size of the function rooms accommodated our large number of guests perfectly. We had lovely weather on the day but if this had not been the case we knew that our guests would still enjoy spending time inside the mansion itself. Peter (Deputy Catering Manager) and his team were friendly, attentive and very professional throughout the planning stage and on the day itself. The food was beautiful and the silver service was a nice surprise for our guests. Clare (Events Manager) was simply wonderful throughout the entire planning stage. She quickly provided answers to our (many!) questions and offered sincere advice and helpful pointers when discussing particular elements of the day with us. She was also amazing on the wedding morning itself, ensuring that everything went as planned and that we did not have to worry about anything.

The mansion rooms are lovely with loads of options for decoration. The food was served perfectly by the catering team. Scott attended to the top table and was brilliant and Peter (Catering Manager) assisted with everything that we needed. Clare (Director of Events) is brilliant, helped throughout and answered all the questions we had regarding the venue, set up and running order of the day. Brilliant venue, food was fantastic and they couldn’t have done more for our special day.

The venue is really beautiful, everything is very well maintained and has that real wow factor. As we live locally we’ve been fortunate to see the gardens throughout the year and they look lovely in every season. Unfortunately for us we had rain on our wedding day, but the rooms were big enough to hold all of our guests comfortably. Once we’d met Clare (Director of Events) we knew we wanted her in control of our day. Peter (Catering Manager), Scott and Emily were extremely helpful. We made some adjustments to our menu and nothing was too much trouble. The food on the day was absolutely delicious and all of our guests commented on the quality and taste of the food. One of the major factors for us choosing the venue was the fact we were able to provide our own wine and prosecco. A lot of other venues only gave you drinks package options, which were more expensive and the quality was not as good as what we provided ourselves.

The experience we had before, during and after the event was absolutely superb and the wonderful Director of Events (Clare) brought a welcome dose of calm, professionalism and care throughout all proceedings. The Woldingham team were very flexible on visits both before and after the Big Day and this made life considerably easier on the organisational front. The venue itself, from the drive in from the front gate to the variety of wonderful rooms and outdoor space, is breath-taking and the main house felt so spacious throughout the day despite us having a large wedding party. The catering side must also be highly commended as the food and service was magnificent and so many of our guests commented on this. We also appreciated the fact that the venue had an on-site chapel and the minimal transfer time from the church to the canapé/champagne reception was a real plus for all. The whole experience significantly exceeded our expectations and we are so grateful to Clare and the Woldingham team for taking good care of us on our special day.

The two of us loved the venue from the moment we saw it and decided almost instantly to book, the experience we have had was amazing. Our guests did mention multiple times over the course of the evening and following days what a spectacular venue we have selected and how great the wedding was! The rooms were superb, and provided our guests with ample space between all the different events at the wedding. The guests also loved the space and commented on how great the scenery was at the venue. The catering staff were very well organised, well trained and spot on with the service. They even looked after both the bride and groom waiting for the right movements to serve canapés and drinks on a very busy afternoon for us! Clare (Director of Events) was exceptional and with us every step of the way as we planned our wedding. She was always an email or phone call away to answer the many questions which cropped up and we really were very grateful for all her support throughout our wedding planning. It made the whole process so much more stress free!
