About

Your perfect ceremony is what I am here to create. Whether it be religious, secular, humanist, themed, inside or out. I will work closely with you, collecting your ideas and then curating a bespoke, beautiful and memorable ceremony.

I have had over six years working in the registration service both as a registrar and Celebrant. So why did I leave and become Independant? Frustration at working within a stringent and limited time frame, resulting in me being unable to really give every ceremony the full attention it deserved. Being Independant, gives me greater freedom and autonomy, enabling me to spend more time with you, which in turn ensures I produce a bespoke script and ceremony that both yourselves and your guests will remember.

So whether it be hymns, blessings, sand, candles, tree planting, hand fasting, animals delivering rings, birds delivering rings……its YOUR day and I'm here with the sole aim to help you create the ceremony that YOU want..

We both had done the big, posh, church weddings in previous lives so wanted something small and intimate. We hoped for an event on which we could reflect for, hopefully, many decades. I met Lizzie whilst training to take part in the Clipper “Around the World” yacht race. We were delighted when she said that she could marry us! We had a wonderful day. The weather and the venue were fantastic but the ceremony, very simple, very special, was what really made it for us. Neither of us were marrying for the first time and having done the big white church style before we wanted something that reflected our older, wiser and truer selves this time!

Something a bit special that was at the same time both intimate, informal and profound. We were married in a registry office and despite it all being pretty cosy for our guests, Lizzie struck the perfect balance between fun without the words being silly and gave it just enough solemnity to create that lovely sense of occasion. Not sure there was a dry eye in the house by the end....

Lizzie has a great sense of humor and was a great sounding board for ideas in the run up. I have no hesitation in recommending her for your ceremony wholeheartedly.
