Whether you’d like a cosy, intimate gathering in the Mess Bar with the roaring fire, or a lavish celebration in the spacious light-filled Glass House we’ve got the ideal package for you. We can provide the perfect mix of laid-back style and old fashioned elegance. With three rooms available for private hire, accommodating 15- 100 people, we can do small weddings, big weddings, and everything in between.

The venue is lovely, cosy and charming! We had very good time celebrating our wedding with friends. Staff very friendly and helpful, excellent food and drinks menu!

The Guardhouse is a fantastic pub/restaurant with great food, drinks, staff, decor, and overall atmosphere. The team was excellent from start to finish, from when we first started discussing our wedding reception until after the event itself. We'd definitely recommend hiring the Guardhouse for your event, as they really know what they are doing.

Anyone thinking of holding a party or event in the Guardhouse I just wanted to say 'wow' they are fantastic. Great venue and setting (Mess Room). Service was excellent, helpful welcoming and catered for our every need. Food was fantastic, delicious and all the guests were complimenting how good it was. Finally the management- passionate, helpful and a credit to the business. Thank you guardhouse for allowing us to enjoy our event
